How many of you stop to observe the tiny perfect things in life? The sort of stuff most people pass by without even noticing. The type of things that can make your day, if you slow down long enough to enjoy them. That’s the theme of this blog. However, I saw a movie the other day that illustrates this concept perfectly.
It’s called (as you might have guessed) The Map of Tiny Perfect Things (Amazon). Without going into too much detail, it’s Groundhog Day for Snowflakes. A young guy and girl discover that they are both stuck in the same day for some reason. They also begin to find beautiful random moments that make everyday life sort of magical. Since the guy, (Mark) is an artist, he draws a map of all of these tiny perfect things in their small town.
I’m not going to spoil the movie for you, however, it illustrates why I created this blog in the first place. After losing my job seven years ago, my life was flipped upside down. When I began to notice the tiny perfect things in this world, I was finally able to accept my fate and try to figure out what came next.
What came next was a blog with over 250 articles, for starters. However, I know there is much more to come, and I wake up every morning just waiting to see what life has in store for me.
So what are your tiny perfect things? I challenge you to open your eyes to these little miracles. Hopefully, if you see one, it’ll brighten up your day. I know they have mine.
As usual, thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read this article. I hope you will continue to enjoy and follow this blog. Please feel free to share these stories with your family and friends!
